Taryn spends her time in Aiken, South Carolina from January-March and in Unionville, PA from April-December.

Here is a link to an article written recently about Taryn and her young horse with a “bad attitude” she turned into her dream event horse.

Taryn Nolte, born in 1990, was raised in Southeastern Pennsylvania, outside of Philadelphia.  She competed at the Devon Horse Show in lead line classes at the age of only 3 and has not stopped going full speed ahead since.  At the age of 15 she went to all the Indoor Finals with her Junior Jumper horse Lance and at age 17 she jumped her first Grand Prix.  From the age of 11 she has worked with Grand Prix rider Michael Walton starting out as his student and now working as his assistant trainer/barn manager at Walton Place in Unionville, PA.

At age 20 a young horse with a very questionable attitude walked into her life. He did not like show jumping but did like being an event horse! From that moment on, in 2012, her career changed from Grand Prix show jumper to 3* event rider.  She now competes her home bred string of upper level event horses as well as several sale horses for customers.  When time allows Taryn also still competes regularly at Hunter/Jumper shows.
