Kara trains with fellow teammate and Canadian Gold Medalist Equestrian, Eric Lamaze at training bases Hares de Wisbecq in Belgium and Torrey Pines South in Florida. In May 2016, Kara began working as a show rider, riding four Grand Prix level horses for Eric Lamaze.
Recently Kara was selected as a member of the Canadian Team for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, an incredible accomplishment for such a young athlete.
